10 Things Every Woman Needs In Her Make-up Wardrobe

Style gurus who preach the gospel of closet staples are right: The perfect trench, a well-fitting pair of jeans and a little black dress pull together a wardrobe like magic. Naturally, the same principle works for your makeup bag. Here’s every beauty basic you need to look amazing, no matter what the occasion.

So do you think you have all the the things in a make-up kit? Double check here.

It doesn’t necessarily means that you should have those brands. I know that a lot of it are quite expensive – not a friendly price for a SAHM like me. Especially those MAC lipstick. How I wish. But at least get the idea from this and get one with a budget that fits your style. I use a BB Cream, a moisturizer, an eye liner, and a mascara. Of course a lipstick, but I don’t have that eye shadow palette and highlighter.

Perfect Eyeliner

This is just the perfect sample for you to have a good eyeliner. Doing this will make your eyes more different. I will the one on the upper right. Let’s see how it will look on me. I have a small eyes. People thought I’m Malaysian or sometimes Indonesian.

At Home Spa Treatments

A must do home remedy from time to time. I’d rather do this than visiting a salon spa. For a mom like me, I should priority staying at home watching over my kids. But of course, if there’s a me time that can be given without hassling anyone, I will go – for as long as it’s free, hahaha!

The New Skin Tone Illuminator

I’ve tried so many products to reduce the dark spots on my face. I used to have pimples on my forehead and on my cheeks. They will stay for like a week. But the dark spots will remain and can take months before it fades off totally. That’s one of the imperfections I’m facing with everyday. I have a dry skin too. With the weather that we have here in the Middle East, who wouldn’t have a dry skin?

I’ve heard about Luminaze. It’s a new product designed to repair blotchy skin appearance. This product is known to be safe and harmless because the ingredients on it are all natural. Hydrogen Peroxide is one the active ingredients to it. As we all know, this substance can remove dead skin. I’m sure when combine with other substance, it can surely work magic on the face. They say that using Luminaze is gentle to use everyday.

I want to try this product because it says that it’s clinically proven by dermatologist that it can give you visible improvement in just 7 days. Wow! I want one now.

It’s available in The Bay and Nordstorm – so for those reader from Canada, might as well give it a try.

Beauty Secret 101 – Warm Your Lash Curler

Warm Your Lash Curler

“Run your eyelash curler under warm water (or blast it with your blow drier for a second) before using it for a considerably curlier result that lasts!”

Beauty Secret 101 – Layer Your Liner

Layer Your Liner

“If you’re not a professional makeup artist, it can be difficult to line those eyes, but then again liquid liner tends to stay on longer and smudge-free. So what I do is, I line my eyes first with a pencil liner because it’s easier to make that straight line with it. Then I go back on the line with the liquid liner. It’s kind of like coloring! The result? Your eye liner will stay on, smudge-free, and well-lined.”

Nail Art

I love polishing my nails. I call it my ME TIME. But I can only do it during my visiting week (only girls can relate to this sentence).

The photo on the upper right is just a glue-on nail from a product named Kiss. Looks so natural right? But it’s a fake nail. If it’s not much that expensive, I will always have this on. It’s good for only 7 days as well so I think you can only wear this on special occasions.  Never the less, I still love the natural way of polishing your nails. With the right color it’ll be perfect. I noticed that my hands are getting whiter too. Wow! My magic is working. Hooray!
